Throwback Thursday: KORA Organics Love

Happy Thursday loves! Today, I have a little throwback Thursday for you. I'm going to take you back to Christmas 2013. I never really tell you what I got for Christmas except for a little sneaky mention of the Urban Decay's Naked 3 palette, some Topshop lipsticks, and a limited edition MAC lipstick ... which you can read here ;)

One of my favourite things I received this past Christmas from my parents are these gems from KORA Organics

For those of you who don't know about KORA Organics, you are missing out. I've talked about KORA Organics before in an old post (.. I think it was August Favorites? where I mentioned the Tinted Day Cream). Miranda Kerr is the founder of KORA Organics, and if you don't know who Miranda Kerr is, you can stop reading this post now and go to google, find out who she is, then come back. Done? :)

Aside from creating an organic skincare line, Miranda Kerr also writes.

If you've read my previous posts, you will know that one of my favourite books that I absolutely love is Treasure Yourself. I talked about it here. When I heard Miranda came out with a second book, I knew I had to have it.

The second book is called Empower Yourself which at this point in time I have finished reading. Empower Yourself, like Treasure Yourself, is a self-help book and guide to self-developement. This is my official new 'bible'.

Another treasure I received is a Beauty Pack in a Christmas-only-limited-edition sleeve, a la:

I received the Purse Pack, which contains all full-size products: Daily Hand CreamVitamin Enhanced Lip Balm, and the Energising Citrus Mist. I have used numerous products from KORA in the past but I have yet to try these 3 items so the Purse Pack is perfect for me :)

I'm not a big hand cream kind of girl because I hate the greasy feeling (even the ones that claimed to be "non-greasy" still feels greasy to me) and having to touch everyday objects like my phone, my purse, my laptop or my pen ... I just can't do it. Plus I wear rings every single day so the idea of getting them all greasy as well .. I just can't.

I've always just dealt with dry hands in the past but ever since I've gotten the Daily Hand Cream, I think I've been converted. It smells amazing and it leaves my hand super soft to the point that I became so obsessed with soft hands I forgot all about the "hand cream greasiness" and I didn't mind. (Now I feel weird with dry hands, mind you, I need these babies next to me all day!)

If you knew me, you'll know that I am a big sucker for lip balms. Not that I need any new ones but hey, the more the merrier. My lips are on the bigger side so I welcomed all lip products and embraced them with open arms. So getting the chance to try KORA's lip balm, safe to say, I was quite excited!

And boy was I not disappointed! I love the scent (I can't describe it as you know, but I'm just going to conclude that KORA has its "unique KORA-scent" and that's what the lip balm smells like. It smells like all the other KORA products - herbal, earthy, light, luxurious, spa-like.)

The last product in the Purse Pack is the Energising Citrus Mist. It is a face mist which revitalize and moisturize your skin, advertised as great for on-the-go. I use this product 2 different ways: as a toner before I put on my daily moisturizer and somedays I will put it in my purse and take it with me as I go. When I want a "pick me up", this Energising Citrus Mist refreshes and hydrate my face (think Evian Mineral Water Spray - it works like that).

Overall I love these products so much. I will definitely be repurchasing every single item when I run out. KORA Organics is one of my all-time favourite skincare line. Not because it is created by Miranda Kerr who is my absolute idol, but because it is an organic line which is good for you and good for the environment :) I highly recommend to those of you who have yet to try the KORA line. I know it may be a little on the expensive side but it is worth every penny. I believe we should invest in skincare products because we will be living in our skin for the rest of our lives. If you have any questions about the KORA products, feel free to ask me anything and I will answer you as best as I can :)

Until next time
from Film with love,

xx
